Established in 1941 by Ioannis Papatheodoridis, a Greek refugee from Cappadocia, the company has been operating in the historic center of Kalamata, Greece, for over eight decades. The original store is housed in a neoclassical building constructed in 1857, featuring an adjacent commercial arcade, which remains the location of their flagship store to this day.
Now managed by the third generation of the Papatheodoridis family, Sandalia sti Stoa has evolved to focus on the art of sandal-making and leather craftsmanship. Their products are a harmonious blend of traditional techniques and modern design, reflecting a deep respect for history and a commitment to contemporary aesthetics.
